Under the Sky you Inherited
This sky I
did not inherited
As you did
As your parents bequeathed to you,
As their parents did to them.
Through the
clauses of laws, rules circulations
Over days,
months, and times
That you
think your world has eternalized and internalized
That your
social fellows consider imperative;
For the
antiquity and continuity of generations;
For you
believe that generations and you are identical;
And I only
feel the pain, and peeling strain at my abdomen
Pull
for the birth of your antiquity’s
identity.
At your
first cry, your world unfolded it over you
Stretched it
on and on, until you become overwhelmed,
Tried to
reach more.
Mine sky is tiny,
It’s created
On the austerity of expectations
At the mercy of rusty masculinity
That often boasts at brothels in darkness
That you sneeze as stigma; but sniff for enigma
In light whose existence you eclipse through gazette;
In the miserly over- time break
Through the crack of the dormitory ceiling
As it is designed by the charity of the civilization
Extension of the wellbeing projects
for M-ego
A dollop of euphemism- the tender verse of interdependency
For my
existence and means are finally perceived to be
An important
part; not for me for me’s sake,
But
for the sake of the superiority of thee.
